Can we host a virtual event?

All conferences can be hosted as an in-person or virtual event. Your Simulcast Consultant can help further explain how to set up either type of event.

What does it cost to host a simulcast event?

There is no hosting fee for organizations with active, paid subscriptions to RightNow Media or RightNow Media @ Work. We waive the hosting fee as a benefit of having an active, paid subscription with RightNow Media or RightNow Media @ Work.

Any organization that does NOT have an active RightNow Media or RightNow Media @ Work subscription may host an event for a $1,000 fee.

Do I have to be a RightNow Media or RightNow Media @ Work subscriber to be a host?

No. The event is open to any church or organization with a desire to impact the community. Any organization that does NOT have an active RightNow Media or RightNow Media @ Work subscription may host an event for a $1,000 fee.

Will there be training available for hosting the event?

Yes. Each host site will be assigned a Simulcast Consultant who can offer guidance in the following areas:

Event Details – What you need to know about the event.
Technical Details – How to stream the content and test equipment before the event.
Localizing the Event – How to make this event a successful local gathering for your community.
Host Etiquette and Tips – How to set up the room, handle promotion, care for attendees, etc.

Do all of my attendees need to register?

Yes. To give your church or organization a proper head count for the event, every attendee must register online through the attendee registration link provided in your individual host portal and pay the registration fee.

When will registration for attendees begin?

Attendee registration opens at different times for each event. We will notify you when attendee registration opens for each event.

Will we receive a portion of the attendee registration fees?

In an effort to serve the church with more conferences and webinars, RightNow Media will no longer return a portion of the attendee registration cost to host sites. We will, instead, invest those funds into creating excellent future events.

Do I need any special equipment?

No. You only need an internet connection of 5–10 Mbps and a screen to display the video. Our team will work with you to answer technical questions and address any issues you may encounter.
